Replacement conveyor belt lead times take from 1–2 weeks for most rubber/fabric belts to 5–8 weeks for roller chain, integrally molded, and corrugated sidewall belts. The belt type, specifications, and splice requirements set the timeline.
Use the lead times below as planning ranges. Final timing depends on belt width, length, cover, ply, cleating, and splice, so confirm the exact date with our team when you order.
Average lead time: 1–2 weeks.
Continuous fabric belting for slider bed conveyors, with hundreds of cover, cleat, and material options.

Belt lead times are construction-dependent.

Custom belts that require drawing and approval also add lead time to any project.
When planning your maintenance schedule, use estimated belt lead times to help calculate your total downtime. You can use the following estimates to determine how long it will take to install your new belt:
Most delays come from incomplete information received during the quote.
Have your conveyor model and belt type ready, along with belt width and length, material and ply, cover type, and any cleat or sidewall dimensions. Note your preferred splice or lacing method, the material you're running, and your delivery location. Photos of the current belt and a serial number (if you have one on the conveyor) let us match the replacement.
If you're replacing a belt because it keeps failing rather than because it wore out, investigate the cause of accelerated belt wear to get the most out of your investment. See how to choose the correct conveyor belt for selection guidance

Fluent Conveyors builds custom replacement belts in-house. Tell us your conveyor and belt, and we'll confirm the exact lead time. We stock common belts and run our own production, so standard belts ship fast, and custom belting is built to match your system.
