Climax Metal Products has manufactured shaft locking components in Ohio since 1946. Over eight decades it grew into a US leader in shaft collars, rigid couplings, and keyless locking devices, and it now operates as part of RBC Bearings. Climax holds ISO 9001 certification and machines its hardware in steel, stainless, aluminum, and engineered plastics, a range that has made it a staple of the American power transmission industry.

Climax built its reputation on the shaft collar, a component it helped standardize for industrial use, and on the locking hardware that grew out of that work.

Shaft collars: set-screw and clamping styles that locate and retain rotating components along a shaft

Rigid couplings: connections that join and time two shaft sections at the drive

Keyless locking devices: keyway-free bushings that lock a component to the shaft under high torque without the fretting a keyed fit invites

Fluent is a conveyor manufacturer. We design, fabricate, weld, and assemble our machines in the United States from project specs to delivery.
