Every Fluent conveyor ships with a three-stage coating system that withstands the challenges of industrial environments. Surface prep, primer, and topcoat are applied to give the frame and its components a finish that holds its color, resists chipping, and withstands corrosion.
Choose any color and enjoy a finish that lasts as long as the conveyor.
We media-blast every frame to strip mill scale, rust, oil, and salt deposits, then blast a profile into the substrate, giving the primer more surface area to grip and a tighter bond to build on.

Profile depth: 1–1.5 mils
Next comes Stratum Ultra Urethane Primer, a two-component, high-solids primer carrying the latest generation of rust-inhibitor technology. Applied wet-on-wet over the fresh profile, it bonds to the steel and seals it against corrosion and chipping.

Build: 1.5–2 mils over profile
The topcoat is Hyperthane 450, a two-component acrylic polyurethane chosen for gloss retention, hardness, and resistance to mar, chemicals, fading, and chalking under sun, splash, and spill. Over the urethane primer, it forms a durable, high-impact finish that keeps machinery protected and looking sharp.
