About Danfoss

Danfoss was founded in 1933 in Nordborg, Denmark, and built its reputation on power electronics and energy-efficient motor control. Its 1968 VLT frequency converter was the first of its kind produced at scale, and the 2015 acquisition of Finnish drive specialist Vacon extended its range into heavy-duty industrial and marine applications.
