About nVent HOFFMAN

Harry Hoffman founded the company in Anoka, Minnesota, in 1945 around an automatic press guard that stopped a machine before it could injure an operator. That focus on protecting equipment and the people who run it carried into electrical enclosures, the product line that made the Hoffman name a US standard for industrial control protection. The brand became part of nVent Electric in 2018 and now manufactures one of the industry's broadest enclosure and climate-control portfolios, with type-rated designs that meet NEMA and UL requirements and an ISO 9001 quality system.
