Fluent supplies conveyor skirting systems, skirtboard rubber, skirt seals, clamps, and wear liners for load zones on belt conveyors. Systems fit belt widths 18"–96" and seal on as little as 1.25" of free belt edge per side, matched to your trough angle, material, belt speed, and available clearance.

Steel or steel-reinforced polyurethane mounted at the chute wall to absorb the load and shield the seal. On this page, skirtboard refers to that wall and its liners. The rubber strip clamped to it and riding on the belt is covered separately under skirtboard rubber.

Wall, liner, seal, clamp, and support supplied as one assembly for a new load zone or a full rebuild.
Enclosed load-zone systems: skirt walls with externally adjustable AR400 or polyurethane liners, cover kits, dust curtains, front stiffeners, and universal support legs that mount to your existing stringer. Belt widths 18"–96" in 6" increments, wall units 1.25', 4', and 5' long in 9"–15" heights, sealing vertical or tangential.
Weld-on wall kits: a one-piece repair welded to skirt walls that are still sound, supplied with clamps and an AR400 or polyurethane liner. 4' and 5' units, straight or tangential.
A seal cannot hold contact against a belt that drops away from it, so belt support through the load zone gets confirmed before any seal is specified. Where the belt runs unsupported under the loading point, we recommend installing an impact bed first.

Use the table as a general reference. Final selection comes from measured load-zone data.
Belt width, load-zone length, trough angle, free belt edge on each side, and vertical clearance above the skirtboard. Record existing skirtboard height, thickness, and material. Your conveyor serial number shortcuts most of this on a Fluent-built machine.
Belt speed, direction of travel, and whether the belt reverses or rolls back. Belt construction, cover thickness, and cover condition. Note the splice type, since mechanical fasteners pass under the seal on every revolution and rule out some designs.
Type, maximum lump size, moisture content, abrasiveness, operating temperature, and any oils or chemicals present. Throughput and loading severity.
Skirtboard condition and straightness, clamp type and rail length, whether a wear liner is fitted, and whether welding is permitted at the installation. This step determines whether the quote covers a seal strip, a clamp rail, a wall kit, or a full enclosure.
Dust, spillage, belt grooving, liner wear-through, or constant readjustment. Each points at a different component. Our team works through this with you based on common load-zone symptoms.
The list below is what produces an accurate recommendation. Send what you have, and we will work with it. The six dimensions under load zone are the ones that decide whether a system physically fits.
Photographs of the load zone from both sides carry more information than a written description, so send those alongside any drawings you have. On a Fluent conveyor, your serial number gives us most of the dimensional data without a site visit.
