Abrasion-resistant rubber strip and roll stock for conveyor load zones, chute walls, and sealing applications. Available in 1/4"–1" thicknesses and 3"–48" widths in 50-foot rolls, with cut-to-width options. Skirtboard rubber clamps to the skirt wall and rides against the belt to contain material at the load zone. Order it on its own or as part of a complete conveyor skirting system.

The 48" size ships as a full roll for chute lining and cut parts rather than strip skirting. Natural rubber is stocked in a narrower range: 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4".

The standard skirting compound. Abrasion-resistant, medium hard, and stocked in every thickness and width. Use it unless the conveyed material or operating environment requires a different compound.
Durometer affects how the strip behaves under load. Harder rubber holds its edge longer against abrasive scrap and aggregate but requires more clamp pressure to close gaps. Softer rubber seals at lower pressure and follows an uneven belt more closely, but wears faster in cutting and gouging service.
Lining and pad components can be cut from the same roll stock used at the load zone, allowing a single order to cover the conveyor and the transfer chute feeding it.
Roll stock can be slit to any width up to 48", eliminating the need to trim a full roll on site. Gaskets, pads, wear strips, and profiles can also be cut from a drawing or template.
Plain skirtboard rubber works when the belt runs flat and true beneath the skirt wall, and the clamp applies even pressure along the full length. If fines continue to escape after adjustment, the strip needs frequent resetting, or free belt edge is limited, a profiled seal with dual contact points or gravity tensioning may provide a more reliable closure.
Skirtboard rubber also cannot compensate for a belt that drops away beneath the loading point. Where the belt is unsupported in the load zone, fit an impact bed before specifying the strip.
