Each spherical bearing is factory-assembled, pre-lubricated, and shaft-ready out of the box.
Flange bearings mount vertically against walls, frames, or other surfaces with the shaft extending perpendicular to the mounting plane. Available in multiple bolt configurations to match your mounting requirements:
2-bolt flange bearings: Compact design for light to medium loads
3-bolt flange bearings: Increased stability for moderate loads
4-bolt flange bearings: Maximum strength for heavy-duty applications

Our bearings are manufactured in the USA at ISO 9001:2015-certified facilities. Fluent guarantees consistent quality and fast lead times for OEM replacement bearings.
Shaft diameter, load requirements, mounting surface dimensions, conveyor speed, and environmental conditions determine which spherical bearing will work best. To find an appropriate spherical bearing unit, follow these steps:

We offer a full size range of spherical bearings across multiple housing styles, so you can find an exact match for your conveyor mounting application.
Spherical inserts use barrel-shaped rollers that provide exceptional radial load capacity and self-alignment capability. They maintain performance in conveyor applications where misalignment occurs.

Ball bearing inserts have higher speed ratings and lower friction through point contact but can carry less load. Tapered roller inserts tolerate combined radial and thrust loads when aligned but can’t self-align like spherical designs.

For conveyor systems handling substantial loads with potential shaft misalignment, spherical inserts are more reliable and long-lasting than ball or tapered roller bearings.

Fluent Conveyors designs and manufactures custom conveyors for agriculture, recycling, aerospace, and other demanding industries. When you source from Fluent, you're working with a team that understands load distribution, misalignment tolerance, and sealing requirements from hands-on conveyor work.
