Fluent supplies scrapers and cleaners for chevron cleated belts that clear carryback trapped between chevron profiles. Belt widths 12"–84", with flexible finger and rotary mechanisms matched to your chevron pattern and material.

A rotating drum of finger rings flicks carryback free as it turns, so released material falls clear instead of packing around the cleaner. Ring segments can be replaced in sections.
Best for: bullhorn, multi-chevron, and deep-V patterns at moderate speed
See chevron cleated belts and heavy-duty integrally molded belts if you're replacing the belt when adding a scraper. For worn, pitted, or grooved covers, or installation points without line power, see belt brushes.
Designed specifically for chevron cleated belt profiles.

built for chevron belts.
Chevron cleated belts carry material up steep inclines by trapping it against V-shaped ribs, and those same ribs trap carryback on the return run.
A straight scraper blade would shear the chevron ribs. Chevron belt cleaners use alternative mechanisms: flexible fingers deflect over each rib, and rotary rings flick material free between the pattern. Where the cover itself is worn, grooved, or pitted, bristle cleaning reaches irregularities a finger cannot follow.

We'll help select a cleaner based on chevron pattern, belt condition, material behavior, and available power. Use this table as a general reference, then confirm the specification for your conveyor.

Cleaners for chevron belts mount in a primary position near the head pulley. Mounting position, contact pressure, alignment, and tension affect cleaning performance and belt life. Set the cleaner square to the belt and centered within the belt edges, and hold light, even contact so fingers deflect over the chevron ribs and fasteners rather than digging in.

Cleaners protect the belt when matched to the chevron pattern and tensioned. These practices prevent premature rib and cover wear:
