About KEITH Manufacturing

KEITH Manufacturing started in 1950, when Keith Foster built material handling equipment for the farms around Madras, Oregon. The company took its present shape in the early 1970s and patented the WALKING FLOOR reciprocating slat unloader in 1973, giving haulers a way to empty a trailer without raising it. Municipal solid waste operators adopted the system through the 1980s and carried the technology worldwide. KEITH still designs, machines, fabricates, and assembles nearly all of its own components in Madras, holds more than 270 patents, and has shipped over 90,000 units.

KEITH designed a floor built from moving slats that walks bulk material out of a trailer or a bunker under its own power.
