Finding Success By Using Fluent Conveyors & Extremely Fast Lead Times

What Customers Are Saying

"In late 2016 our company had a very tight deadline that seemed almost impossible to meet. In fact, we are also a conveyor manufacturer in the food processing industry. We had been working with a fortune 500 client and we were a little in over our heads. We had taken part of the project that we had zero experience in. We did some quick research for sprockets and came across Fluent Conveyors. Within a week, we had approval from Anheuser-Busch that we could outsource this part of the project to another fabricator.

With 9 weeks from that date we had to have the entire project (5 custom hinge steel belt conveyors) delivered to Jacksonville, Florida. Not only did Fluent Conveyors do exactly what they promised, they also delivered equipment to the customer that they said "was 5X better than the system they had in another facility".

Thank you Fluent Conveyors team for taking the extra time to make sure we hit our deadline and created no issues! We have had no complaints and are so thankful for your efforts.

Upgrading to the highest-grade machinery means giving your business the strongest systems possible. The strength of components is a key requirement in understanding a product’s performance, lifecycle and possible failure modes. Max conveyor loads, thermal stress, bolt tension, pressure conditions, belt chain pull, and rotational acceleration are just some of the factors that will dictate strength requirements for materials and designs. Fluent Conveyors Engineering Team leverages software to predict the strength required for maximum stresses under full loads. We only give you the strongest machinery to make sure you never have to stress about its performance.

REAL-LIFE IMPACT ANALYSIS

Our Fluent Conveyors Engineering Team designs for real-life impact. We use cutting edge impact analysis testing to calculate the forces between the material being conveyed and the conveyor as well as the resultant deformation or damage. Ensuring each conveyor is designed from the ground up to handle the real-life stresses for specific materials and applications. Engineered with grit for years of impact.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Is the light duty option the correct choice for my application?

During the pre-sales process with our team we will get as much technical application data from you and your team to make sure the recommended product(s) match what you need.

This series of conveyors is light duty based on the “name”; however, the structure is made of 3/16 thick steel and follows the same engineering processes as our heavy-duty roller chain conveyor series.

The big difference with this series is overall belt width options as well as chain pitch offerings (2.5 inch and 4-inch pitch belts). This series also only offers hinged steel and rubber combo belts.

If you are unsure of what is correct for you, please contact us.

  • Is this conveyor type customizable?

The light duty roller chain conveyor is 100% customizable. Everything in this series is made to order to make sure it matches all space constraints and transition requirements.

If you know this is the series you need, please contact us and our sales team would be glad to help.

  • How does a light duty conveyor system work?

This conveyor series is mechanically similar to the heavy-duty series. Direct shaft mounted drive/gearbox paired with hardened flame cut sprockets and industrial bearings. The sprocket and chain create a ball and glove connection and the shaft and drive unit turn to move the belt.

  • What is the care and maintenance of light duty conveyor systems?

The performance of any conveyor over a long period of time is a direct reflection of the service and preventative maintenance. The main things to always maintain on this conveyor are chain oilers, bearings, sprockets, and the chain itself. We have a complete preventative maintenance process detailed out in our help and support section of the website for each conveyor series.

  • How to build a light duty conveyor system?

If you are looking to manufacture your own conveyor system you should make sure you have a local PE (professional engineer) validate all mechanics of your design.

Even though these conveyors may look simple, there are thousands of engineering hours built into each model to ensure its structural and mechanical operations are validated and meet the market performance requirements.
