Belt speeds across stages are matched, or deliberately mismatched, to meter flow and prevent surging at transfer points. Transfer point geometry (drop height, chute angle, impact zone design) is specified for each handoff between conveyor types. In high-drop transitions from roller chain infeed to downstream belt conveyors, impact management improves belt life and spillage control.
We use metering wheels and speed sensors to provide real-time flow data, and pair them with VFD-controlled drives that can adjust belt speeds independently at each stage during operation. Conveyor chutes are designed and fabricated as part of the system.
