D4 car shredder infeed conveyors are adapted from our extreme heavy-duty roller chain conveyors and fitted with Caterpillar track in place of a belt, so they can carry the weight and abrasion of whole cars and large scrap that would damage other systems. Every D4 Cat track conveyor is built from heavy structural steel and finished to survive continuous shredding, scrap, and foundry duty. Frame, tubing, and pan sides are MIG-welded with Grade 8 hardware and 10-gauge gusset plates, then sandblasted and powder-coated for corrosion resistance.
